I loved my contour usb but now can't use it as the strips can't be prescribed. I use the memory on my meter to get my reading but on new meter I keep deleting them! I do hope bayer will reduce the test strips cost so I can use it again

I am 43 and had a massive heart attack apparently caused by diabetes. I have been going back and forth to gp with reflux! but it was heart problems no ecg was done and I nearly lost my life. I'm in a bad place and am waiting for more stents

Insurance companies are not allowed to charge you more if you have diabetes and are on a restricted licience. you can test the theory as I do get a quote! then get a quote telling then about the diabetes and restricted licience the premium will not change!

I am pleased to hear that! I have been diagnosed with it today, started on tamiflu. Feeling awful today but at least it shouldnt last long, worse for me is the thumping headache

I used to read this forum a lot but sadly I no longer do there is far to much verbal aggression on here, its great to hear different points of view. I am in deep trouble with my diabetes, it confuses me now where to post. Surely everyone can get on and try to help others with their sucsesses...

Are there any charity shops near you that you could help at? Or a scout pack? I am in a simular situation, my GP says I am unfit to work as some days I cannot even stand let alone work. I volunteer in the guiding movement. I have had to declare this voluntary work. I was reported for benefit...
