    I have the same problem spikes 4 or 5 hours after evening meal. I have made sure my bolus amount is in line with the carbs. Have now reduced my insulin carb ratio for my evening meal and it seems to be working.

    Lantus every night before bed seems to be working fine for me, bit confused about splitting the dose when I have Apidra during the day and the dosage is varied depending on what I eat, use Carbs and Cals as a reference.

    No problems with Lantus Solo Star or Apidra as long as I change needles. Always set on 2 and flush first before taking normal dosage

    I gained my recovery weight back after suffering from keytone acidosis which was not a nice experience especially whilst on holiday in Spain.. Lantus and Apidra seem to be working fine. Just need to cut down on the carbs at the moment.

    No problem with the food served to me when I was in Glan Clwyd Hospital sorting my T1 out. The only thing I found funny was the trolley full of chocolate and sweets that came round once a day

    4 mm pen fine classic made in Switzerland. Love the little white needle protection cap that fits when my pen cover is on. Before I was using those Braun rubbish ones.
