    Hi I have been going to we since August. I have lost 25lbs. I am type1 have been for 54 years. I am on no count eat very low carb. Feel great. Work the diet out for you. The forum is my saviour. Sorry guys for going over to the dark side!!

    I remember going to see my consultant. He had a cannister of strips. You did a finger prick then tested it against the cannister which showed a number of different shades of blue. He gave me a few strips to take home, but had to cut them down the middle. As a full cannister cost £5!!!. Not long...

    I am very proud of myself today. Dec. 2015 - 8.9. March 2016 - 7.5. Had a very bad 2015. Feel more positive.

    Hi Is it the right word us diabetics use (not letting people in) I can look after myself!!. I hardly tested, guessed how much insulin to have. Until in the end I told my husband I need help. What I am trying to say to Miriamenily is have you support from your family. I do hope so and good luck.
