12.1 this morning almost given up trying to control this disease I just have to except complications are around the corner I must start to get prepared for dialysis and amputations one day!
Complications aren't inevitable People have lived with Type 1 for 80 years, including when care was very, very basic and they couldn't even test their blood sugar.
Everybody has highs sometimes. Correct them and move on Your diabetes team can help with persistent highs.
10.7 going to bed. Had 2 u correction. Woke up an hour later at 14. Had 4 units correction. Very unwise insulin stacking. Woke up at 2.6 feeling properly spaced out (not really sure what my name is, what day it is or, most importantly, how to make a cup of tea - I had to have little sit down while the kettle was boiling to work out what I was supposed to do next) which is really unusual for me. Will try hard to remember this for next time and not do that again! Silly diabetic
