    Issues with care team.

So I'm currently at 73 down from 121, I know I still have a way to go but I also know I've made so much progress. My DSN at my GP surgery was always such a great support but recently they've put me under another DSN at the surgery which has been the worst move. The continuity of care is...

Shocked and upset to receive phone call from GP Surgery saying I am pre-diabetic

Just a thought. Are you able to access the NHS app? Your results should be available to view on there for you to be able to see what your hba1c was when they took your blood. Hope this helps.

    Issues with care team.

Hey all, hope you're all enjoying Christmas! Does anybody else experience issues with their care team? Mine have been so unsupportive lately and I completely understand the NHS is overrun which doesn't help but considering I never asked for diabetes I feel I deserve some help. I'm continually...

    Hit a real low.

Hey all, another month completely off the rails. So I'm back again, tail between my legs. I've realised i need to engross myself in this forum to help keep me on course. My appointment with mental health services went well, though it was more of a booking in appointment for them to figure out...

I didn't think about taking a friend but the only person I'd be comfortable taking is working unfortunately.

Any support would be wonderful. I leave in 30 minutes, I've been worrying all day. The closer it gets the worse I feel. I am determined though.

Appointment booked with the mental health team, September 4th at 2pm. I have book club the same day at 7pm so I have something nice to look forward to afterwards.

    Hit a real low.

It's been okay, yesterday breakfast and lunch went fine, I also had a walk after breakfast and went to a cafe. Cup of tea and cake at the cafe which I injected for. So all of that was good. Then later I had an Indian at a friends house which I didn't inject for. But I did correct later so not...

It says something like oops, we ran into some problems. Oddly it'll allow one picture but not another.

I'd love to be able to share some screenshots of my libre app and share some of the progress I've made but for some reason I cannot attach files!

Much better yesterday, thankyou. Also going strong today. My only issue yesterday was I was taken to a pub which didn't have any nutritional information I could find and I didn't want to mess up again so I didn't eat. I was so hungry when I finally got back. I have the carbs and cals app but...

    Hit a real low.

Failed myself today. Breakfast and lunch were fine, the struggle came at the cinema and I failed. Popcorn and chocolate, guessed on insulin dose, BG now quite high. Just given a correction and hoping it comes down before bed.

I am pleased with my progress and very grateful for everyone's support. Just finished putting food together for work tomorrow. I've calculated carbs for everything because I think it'll be easier doing it the night before when I'm going to be at work. Overnight oats for breakfast with...

    Hit a real low.

Update, I didn't make the phone call but I have just this minute completed the online self referral form. Apparently I will be contacted within 7 working days, takes the pressure off me making the call myself.

I was 1 unit to reduce by 3 but recently my DSN suggested 1 unit to reduce by 2. This doesn't always seem to work (I say always, since Saturday) but when we get a good idea of where I'm at obviously can make changes. I see her again 17th September so hopefully I've made some good progress and...

    Hit a real low.

BG 11.1 before bed and corrected. Had a steady night but woke at 11am, it was 12.2. I did wake with a headache and very congested, think I might be coming down with something. Could explain why BG didn't respond much to correction? No breakfast because I woke late, just had a fairly carb heavy...

I haven't yet, I think it was easier yesterday because I knew it was Bank Holiday so they likely wouldn't answer. Today they will and I'm a little nervous. I've just seen my DSN and she is happy with the progress I have made but did push again for me to give the mental health team a call.

'Naughty' food explanation, a couple of reasons. Firstly, when I was first diagnosed I was diagnosed Type 2. My DSN at the time was fairly old and she was very very old school, essentially she wanted me to live off meat and vegetables. Each time I saw her she treated me like a child who had been...

    Hit a real low.

Peckish again after my evening meal, craving 'naughty' food. Just had an 18g bar of chocolate (10g carbs per bar) and some belvita biscuits (30g carbs per pack) so a total of 40g carbs. I did take insulin for it however I'm stressing it's going to throw me off
