Issue with Libre - blank screen

As someone mentioned above if you previously had the app on your phone, even though it can’t be accessed in the App Store it can be accessed and reinstalled. Click on My Account in the top right and click on Purchased where it will list all the apps that you have installed. Find it there and...

Issue with Libre - blank screen

If you don't have this issue I would suggest making sure that you have automatic updates for the app switched off and don't update the app until a new version that works has been released

Issue with Libre - blank screen

OK, it sounds like Abbott have screwed up somehow. The app is no longer on the App store as there is going to be an updated version - but they can't tell me when this will be available. In the meantime they are sending me a Libre Reader and a new sensor which I have asked to be sent by express...

    Libre2 and swimming

I regularly swim with mine for about an hour in a chlorinated pool. I use a patch (not waterproof) mostly because my kids are quite rough and tumble so to stop them knocking it off

Issue with Libre - blank screen

Yes, I have just posted the same. I had white screen and app crashing so restarted my phone and still the same. I uninstalled it so I could reinstall but can't find it in the app store either searching or via the link from the Abbott website - says not available in my country (I'm in UK)

There’s an online form for reporting issues - I’ve bookmarked the page as not always easy to find.

    Lasting Power of Attorney

Yes, would obviously discuss with them but was thinking if specifics were written in the LPA it could support them for example if I was being cared for in a home or receiving care from 3rd parties.

    Lasting Power of Attorney

Hello, I am currently setting up Lasting Power of Attorney for both myself and a family member. I was wondering if anyone has put any specific Preferences and Instructions with regards to their diabetes management? And if anyone has if they would be prepared to share what they put. I have type 1...

    Double Vision

Thanks! I took a walk up to the pharmacy as needed to pick stuff up anyway. Getting myself out and active in the fresh air seems to have sorted it out.

    Double Vision

Hello, First, apologies if my typing isn't great, I'm typing with one eye closed as I have double vision! I replaced my Libre this morning as it was reading really out (up in the 11s when I was in the 3s). I'd had problems with it since last night so possibly was low throughout the night, but I...

    Insulin in hot weather

Hello, As it says on the storage info I keep my current in-use insulin unrefridgerated. With temperatures in the UK due to hit mid-high thirties should I consider keeping my open insulin in the fridge when I can? The information says it should be kept below 30 degrees. I'm thinking as the...

    HbA1C question on insurance

This is the question about HbA1C for a major insurer. It doesn't say what units it is using and from those they are using it looks like it could be a mixture. Anyone have any idea? I can't get through to speak to them. Although looking at this I suspect their understanding of what HbA1c will be...

Bolus ratio keeps changing, exhausted with it all!

I think peri-menopausal is what is doing it. I managed to keep pretty steady control through 2 pregnancies, breastfeeding and getting back to normal then in the last 18 months (I am now 47) keeping control has been so much harder than being pregnant. I have never had any fluctuations during my...

    Freestyle Libre reading low

I agree that it should be as accurate as possible - I'd say that giving a low reading for safety reasons does the absolute opposite and it more dangerous as users are always adjusting the reading to compensate.
