    Pump and a spa day?!?!

Thanks for you comments everyone! If I have to take it off every hour does that mean I need to put it back on for an hour before I can take it off again to go back in the pool? Sorry if that doesn't make sense? I've only had my pump since Monday! Xx Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

Thanks for all your replies!! First night sleep wasn't very good but it's what I expected I was so conscious of rolling on it or pulling it out!! I've been told that it's really hard to pull it out though!! Last night I clipped it onto my waist belt of my pjs and that seemed to work well for...

Lantus wasn't working so they put me on levemir in February, I still haven't managed to get that to suit me so now they want me to have a pump... Always hungry :(

I have 5 injections a day and to have to inject for an apple seems too much I would be having like 10 a day lol! I used to be able to eat 20g of carbs without injecting as my background insulin would cover it but that doesn't seem to work anymore :( Thanks for your response x Sent from the...

    Night time bloods extremely high

Thanks for the reply! Do you have 18 levemir am plus 18 levemir pm? Or 18 altogether? I've been told I should be on around 26 altogether but I'm already on more than that and I think I need to increase it! Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Insulin pumps

I have recently been told that I need to consider maybe going onto the pump rather than my 5 injections a day! To date I have really not wanted the pump but my control is not good and after trying everything I may be forced to try the pump! What do people think that use a pump? X Sent from...

    Differing readings from different fingers

I'm exactly the same! The other night I was 22 in one hand and 15 in the other! That's a massive difference and my hands were definitely clean! It's so frustrating cos if I injected to cover the 22 I would of gone low if my blood was really 15! So confusing x Sent from the Diabetes Forum App
