Freestyle Libre 2 - Removal of sticky residue from the arm.

Update. I've just replaced my sensor and the isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) worked very well. I applied the solution using a cotton wool ball and it took 20-30 seconds of gentle rubbing before all the sticky residue was completely gone. Thank you @HairySmurf for the recommendation and I...

Freestyle Libre 2 - Removal of sticky residue from the arm.

Thanks for the advice. Everything I've read so far says that 99% pure isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) is safe to use on the skin.

Freestyle Libre 2 - Removal of sticky residue from the arm.

Thanks for all the replies. I've tried showering after removing the sensor but most of the residue remained. I bought some rubbing alcohol from Amazon to clean the heads on my Blu-ray player so I'll try that next time I change my sensor. That will be in just under 2 weeks so I'll let you know...

Needles Suitable For A Novopen 5

I've got into the bad habit of reusing my needles a few times before changing them. This has never caused me any problems but perhaps it's time to start doing things according to the instructions.

Needles Suitable For A Novopen 5

The numbers on my old NovoPen were fading and becoming unreadable so decided to upgrade to the latest NovoPen. I had no problems with the needles I had at the time but I recently started a new pack of needles and while they work without any issues, the NovoPen lid doesn't quite fit snuggly...

    Refused eye test at opticians

Was referred to the hospital about 2 tears ago due to spots seen during an eye exam (background retinopathy, I believe). Have since had three appointments, but it has not deteriorated. Booked an appointment at Boots Opticians to get an up to date prescription, as a pair of my glasses had...
