2014/15 Football Season

If we can't beat them then the lot of them should spend a week down a coal pit, predicting at least 8-0.
Losses for Scotland, Wales and both Irish teams!
Superwhites don't get a week off. Not enough internationals. Though we do lose our keeper to pick splinters out of his behind for wales. Not had a minute on the pitch as third keeper!

I believe we should go like rugby union and play league games despite losing players! It happens in cricket too!

This would give our kids a chance at first team!

I wonder if @semiphonic won that bet and gone cruising in that wishful yacht he wants. And is now living the life on some tropical isle! Hope so! Hope he's ok!
Come on Rovers!

Haha I wish mate! No winning bet, no boat and no tropical isle! I'm fine mate, found myself turning into the sort of person I avoid on the forum, so I put myself in quarantine for a bit....

Can't believe Rovers actually won, nearly fell off my chair! This is surely the kick start your season needed.

I'm really pleased with the mighty Hammers start to the season, 7th in the Prem sandwiched between the spuds and arsenal. Sakho is looking like an absolute bargain...

You werent far off Nosher it finished 5-0 and could have been more. Now why couldnt they have played like that in the world cup.

The problem is England played exactly like they did in the World Cup, 5-0 against the joint worse team in the world isn't much of an achievement, Germany beat them 13-0 a little while ago....

This weeks predictions -
Wins for Peterborough, Coventry, Gillingham, Cambridge Utd, Bury, Accrington and Exeter
Draws for Oldham/Walsall, Bristol City/Chesterfield and Tranmere/Plymouth

So good to have you back mate! Missed our chats! It was nice for rovers! Still not out of the woods yet, thinking if we stay up and then we can have a go next year. Into October and the seasons over! The paint pot cup might get us to Wembly, lol!
Hammers are doing fine, who was it that predicted relegation?:angelic:
Good to have you back though I have been busy myself. You missed some good threads!

As @semiphonic said we still are not good enough to go far in the big comps. It took half an hour for the first. One or two useful performances though.

This weeks predictions,

Home Wins for Bristol City & Sheff utd
Away wins for Coventry, Peterborough, fleet wood.
Draws Oldham & port vale.

At least a draw for Rovers! Please!
Carlisle & Hartlepool to get beat.

Ho hum!

Thanks mate, it's good to be back :)

It escapes me who predicted relegation for the hammers, but maybe they angered the football gods lol

Tried to reply on the thread you tagged me in but it's been locked.

Ho hum!

Hhave only just caught up with that thread myself. It was a really good interesting thread full of thoughtful observations, (trying not to get into bovver here!)
It's a pity it ended but things are getting done for the better.
Back to footie. We have signed a striker from swindle. Apparently not scored many. George Barker. Hope he get a bagful tomorrow!
Is the knee any better?

Yeah i thought San Marino werent all that good.I only saw the last half hour of the game. But it was enough to see San marino were ****.

It was an interesting thread, took me ages to type out my reply too lol

Well you need to score goals so a striker should be a good signing, is Fanimo getting a run out for you? I put a £2 accumulator on my predictions, returns enough for a boat if it comes in so I need a draw please.

The knee? It's not going to get any better than it is now, I fell over in the street a couple of weeks back because it gave way (no I hadn't been drinking!), it was pretty embarrassing! I'm working on building up my quads which should help, hopefully. And it clicks every time I take a step which is really annoying, looks like I can't pursue my dream of being a ninja now!

How's things with you mate, got the RH under tight control still?

Oh yeah! Tight control. Nowt above 7.0 after 2 hours. Have been trying a few more carbs but because I'm now on 100mg of sitagliptin, I should treat myself.
Fanimo returned to you last week, her only had a late subs appearence, according to the club he wasn't doing enough to warrant a place.
My mate had a big op on his knee and my eldest struggles bowling after a while and they both use a knee support which is lightweight and cheap off the internet. I don't know what it's called but I will find out. Most of my lot watch rovers when they can. For some reason they won't sit next to me. Something about acting my age not my shoe size!;)

Hey ho!

That's good mate, you must be well pleased, go on treat yourself

I can see us getting rid of Fanimo if he doesn't start making an effort.

Use European shoe sizes mate, it's a higher number lol

Well the first result is in, a thumping 5-1 win for Cambridge United, 1 down 9 to go......
