2017/2018 Football Season

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho had water and milk thrown at him and Manchester City coach Mikel Arteta suffered a cut head during a post-match row.

As usual the war of the Manchester clubs :D I don't know why they cant just accept the fact City won the game and get over it. No need for heated words its just a bloody game.

I agree, having also watched it. I fear that throwing the game away at the last minute is a Saints speciality (they also did it a couple of weeks ago, against Citeh), though the Arsenal equaliser was, admittedly, quite a good goal.

It's really Baltic weather here, not got over freezing all day and a really hard frost predicted. But that's quite summery when you compare Merseyside with Cumbria!
Hope you have undersoil heating?

According to our latest forecast, and they are never close for us scousers, a few snow flurries, when everyone else got smothered in the stuff! It is something like -12, where you are up north @Cumberland, how likely is your game going to be postponed?

Only had five layers of clothing on today!
Takes about half an hour to get dressed!

We do have undersoil heating or did I’m not sure if it’s operating due to the floods 2 years ago this month

If it’s on I can’t go because don’t finish work till 7.30

It’s not got above freezing since Saturday night

Tuesday's FA Cup second-round replay between Carlisle United and Gillingham has been postponed because of a frozen pitch at Brunton Park.


That's a bit of hardlines and I guess prolongs the agony for you :(

Least I won’t get snarled up in the footy traffic when I leave work at 7.30
 
Once again we missed the worst of the overnight freeze.
Our lowest temperature was -3 at 3am. But at 8am it was -1, and has stayed there all day. Pitch is frozen but have our ultraviolet lights on the pitch. The pitch is frozen in places and unplayable.
Shrewsbury, a mere forty miles away -13, Wow!
Supposed to be warming up a tad with wind and rain but still cold.
Hate this weather!

Gonna try and post some pictures of the pitch.

Well as I expected we got hammered 1-3 last night. That's the exact score that I entered on the Predictor. Next up is Watford on Saturday and could well be another hammering. :rolleyes::eek::D
