2017/2018 Football Season

And we go to a replay. We scored first and Brummy equalised. I was hoping they would score another knock us out. No such luck unless they do it at theirs.:D
Saints go marching on in to round 5 @jay hay-char well done lad :)
Carlisle won well done :)
Tranmere drew 1 point better than nowt I suppose. :)

Not a bad result in the end.
Fantastic derby atmosphere, highest non league crowd at the racecourse ground.
About 8000, and nearly 2000 Rovers fans, (sold out and could have been more if allowed)
Keeps us in the running as the macc only drew as well!

Home to Ebbsfleet next Saturday!
Think. I've lost my voice and my hearing is buzzing still.

Not bad results all round especially Carlisle beating FGR!

That's not very nice! I'm sure we should have had a penalty. @Cumberland - you should have warned me that the burgers were so awful! :yuck: I think I actually prefer the vegan ones at home games to yours:wideyed: Ate at Tebay services on the way home.

A good day out though, 107 FGR fans there. We loved Carlisle and the cathedral and castle and shops. It's hard to believe the ground was under so much water not so very long ago.

Footy night and we play host to Klopp's scousers. I reckon we'll be in for a good hiding else I'll be surprised. And to make matters worse all them below us bar Swansea( Swansea cant overtake us but they can get dangerously close) play tomorrow night so we would then have the agonising wait to see where our league standing will be. We could be in the relegation zone at 10pm tomorrow. Need them all to lose lets think positive. :D

Good luck to anyone else playing tonight not that there's many.

Well you couldn't write it so to speak. If we overcome the Brummies next week we get a nice little Home tie with none other than Man Utd. Flipping heck to put them out and reach the quarters would be a dream for all us Terrier supporters. Its certainly a long time that we have been that far in a cup. We beat Man Utd at home earlier this season so why cant history repeat itself. :watching::D

I hope Arsenal win for you tonight :) I won't be betting on it though.

I really do hope you get to the quarters and beyond. :)

Well if things run true to form, They'll go let us down like City and Man Utd have in the last few games as have Spurs :D I reckon we may just escape relegation by the skin of our teeth but anything is possible :D

And they did let you down! Not a pleasant journey home last night. I have to say the trip to Carlisle with FGR was much more fun; at least FGR competed. I still can't face eating any meat after that awful Carlisle burger though. I think that burger may have caused me to become a vegetarian.

Yes they sure did :( With all the teams below us playing tonight we gotta hope they get beaten though Brighton play the Saints so a draw would put Brighton ahead of us and a win for either would put that team ahead of us so I dunno I guess just wait and see.:D

Oh well all last nights results went against us. Brighton and Saints drew as did Stoke, and Newcastle. So now we are staring at the relegation zone hard. Just 1 point separates us from Southampton and Swansea and 4 points above bottom placed West Brom. And with us to play Man Utd on Saturday its not looking too good :( @zand we may be back playing your beloved mob from Elland Rd next season :D assuming you don't get promoted that is :D

We have Stoke at the weekend. I would say "how can we lose"? in normal circumstances but at the moment, the question seems to be "How can we win"? :(

The fat lady hasn't sung yet but it's looking iffy.

Yes you are like us and sweating it even though there's still 13 games and 39 points still to come we'd need to win at least 7 of em and you'd be the same I reckon. Hopefully we will both survive fingers crossed eh :)

Yay! Wem-ber-ley. Arsenal beat Chelsea:):D Bring on Man City lol.

@Cumberland - you going to the match on Saturday? My family are now thinking that maybe we will go :D Still not decided yet though....

Sorry I have been absent for a wee while

I missed the FGR match due to work

The pitch is the best in the league and better than most PL grounds was completely re turfed after the floods

You should have had a sausage butty instead lol

Carlisle is quite a nice place usually cold especially in winter

There it goes we have lost 2-0 :( Now in the relegation zone. Long time since we were in a relegation zone. 12 games to come lets hope its enough for us to escape.
Good win for Saints as well as Tranmere :)
Oops Last time I looked Carlisle were winning and now they have ended up drawing. That's bad luck lads :(
Arsenal kick off at half 5 good luck @zand hope you beat the Toffee's :)

Next stop Birmingham for us away on Tuesday night in the cup. Next league game is next Sunday away to Bournemouth. Be a tough one but one we have to win for sure.
