2017/2018 Football Season

1-2 winners I'll take that. I predicted that very score as well so 40 points for me :D
Elsewhere Saints grabbed a late equaliser well done lads. Swans got 4-1 hammering and Stoke drew. We got a 3 point cushion over the drop zone which is good cos we play Spurs next week and I cant see us beating em.
Good wins for Carlisle and Tranmere well done lads :)

Well done, the Terriers.

Saints up to 16th - but still only out of the drop zone on goal difference  Far too close for comfort at this stage of the season. Stoke, Newcastle and Wet Spam coming up over the next few weeks: we've got to get at least six points out of that lot, in my opinion. At least Gabbiadini seems to be coming on song at the right time.

It certainly is indeed. We got a nasty one next week with Spurs so you could overtake us.

th
2........... Wolves 0.......... That's it............ Simple

Rollercoaster ride for Rovers this week, a really bad result Tuesday that saw Macclesfield trounce us and go seven points clear at top, as usual for Rovers, we don't win when it's really crucial.
Then yesterday, we turnaround a 2-1 deficit to win 3-2, two penalties and an oggie to win. The thing is we were really poor! Maybe the 4G surface, the lack of confidence after Tuesday, the players missing, the cold, the out of form players, the pressure, or all the above and more, probably!
We are now third, the weather looks dreadful for the coming week and I would probably have some money on postponed games this week and weekend!
It could also have been worse I suppose!
A crucial part of the season, going into March on the run in, within the last ten games, need to so the majority, but I'm not confident!
I know what our history is regards end of season outcomes are! (Rubbish!)

Ho hum!

It is freezing!
Keep warm everyone!

Well done Carlisle and terrier!
Good point saints!
Leeds won, macams drew, and Fulham won the big game in the championship!

Got my match ticket for this coming Saturday
The club are doing reduced prices for this game a tenner

Yep there might be a few postponed games this coming weekend

The forecast is awful.
Having looked at our pitch today, I can't see our game being on because it is frozen, even with the frost covers on, anything below -7 (which it was last night!) tonight, the prospect of thawing is really not going to happen.

It was freezing in work today, the wind chill still got to me, even with five layers of winter clothing!

There will be a lot of games off!

Just love it when winter really arrives!

We are down at Wembley on Saturday for the Spurs game so hopefully it wont have fallen fowl to the weather.
Don't think it will be a problem at Wemberley but getting out of yorkie land, that could be different!
We have undersoil heating at BP just hope they stick a couple of quid in the meter
You might need a pump as well if it thawed quickly Saturday!

Just love this weather!(Not!)

That's gunna be the biggest problem for a lot of football fans the getting to the game. Public transport, Trains etc all in turmoil not to mention the roads. Worse is to come yet with storm Emma.
