2018/19 Football Season

I was walking out of the grocery store yesterday and saw a young girl and her mother coming towards me. The girl was wearing a red jersey that said FLY EMIRATES. Sure enough, when we got closer I saw the Arsenal patch on her jersey. So I smiled at them and said, "Hey! An Arsenal fan!" You don't see them every day around here.

I got a nice smile and greeting in reply. :)

Away to Watford for us today. I doubt we'll do much there but hopefully I'll be surprised. A draw would something but its 3 points we need for the next few games. Bookies have tipped us 2/5 favourites to go down this time. If we don't start getting our fingers out soon someone will be cashing in on those odds. Still 29 games to play so anything can happen.

Good to everyone else. I hope your teams all win :)

@zand enjoy the game.

I play walking football at the Arsenal hub every weekend - we have a women’s tournament next week. Some great perks - we’ve played on the Emirates pitch (have pics but was before I lost most of my weight) and a couple of free stadium tours.

And we take another battering. 3-0 to Watford. Looking a bit bleak. :eek: Good job Cardiff and Fulham both lost so the gap is still only 2 points and our next game is with Fulham on Monday 5th November. Firework night but most likely be Fulham who's celebrating with fireworks :D

Well done Tranmere a nice 5-1 win :)
Nice win for FGR too well done Zand. :)
Carlisle drew better than losing I reckon :)

Don't forget your clocks change 1 hour back before you go to bed folks :)

Arsenal Away at Crystal Palace tomorrow. And Leeds are playing Notts Forest (@Goacher55 !) later today. FGR away at Exeter.

@zand I reckon your Leeds will be taking our place in the Prem cos its looking like we are going down short of a much needed miracle :D Bookies have us at 2/5 to go down :eek::rolleyes::arghh::(

Thanks Zand. After seeing our performance on MOTD the first 2 goals of Watfords were a gift. The first one rounded 6 of our players to slot home a gift. Need to perform better and hopefully we will now the hard games are out of the way.

Seems it was a sad day in the world of football yesterday. Thought's go out to everyone at Leicester city football club after that terrible helicopter tragedy :( Also thoughts lye with Glenn Hoddle and his family. I hope he makes a speedy recovery. Then on a sad note a Brighton fan collapsed and died. RIP to him and thoughts to his family :(

We scraped home 5-1, but that is irrelevant to what has happened around the grounds yesterday evening.

Football will go on, Tuesday night home to man city u21s in the checkatrade Mickey mouse cup!

Hope everyone is okay, and wish all your team's success this week.
