2022/23 Football Season.

Has the rugby league team now got a diferent name after Workington?
I had not heard the reds bit! I just thought it was Workington.

We won 1-0, great away win so unexpected. A penalty decided it. It was a very poor game tho!

At least the Rovers won, with their eldest ever player in goal....... 41 years old. :)
DUFC are needing a goalie..... and 10 others.

To be honest, he didn't have much to do. Our defence was solid today.
A perfect away day. Clean sheet, scored enough to win, and a good team performance.

Recruitment is so important to be able to put a team on the pitch. From a keeper, to the spine of the team, a balance that enhances the team ethic. And a belief in what the the club and fans believe, plus a lot more!
you just can't throw a group of eleven men together and tell them to get on with it!

And you can't keep selling your best players!

Mind you, you will win next week even if you are playing the best team in your league. It does happen you know!

Yep that's our biggest problem. We haven't got the money for recruitment. We need someone to buy us that has some serious wonga. Trouble is nobody is interested in us and when we have slipped in to League one which is looking more and more likely. No ****** will wanna touch us. Deano has let us down big time but I can see where he is coming from. He has to look after his health. I dare say a lot of our fans would disagree with me there.
 
Home to Crawley tonight, hoping for another win.
These games tend for is to be generous in defence.

As expected we are looking for our 4th manager in less than 2 seasons.... going so well.

We once went with 2 managers over 38 seasons. Kerr and McLean....

It's not the managers, the owners......
