2022/23 Football Season.

New manager, till end of season. Jim Goodwin, who was the last Aberdeen manager until he was sacked as they were beaten by a Darvel and then trashed by Hibs and others.... 18:00 at home.
I would take 1-0.
I wish him well.

Hope our teams do well.

4.0 hammering that's it end of the line. It's league one next season. 8 points adrift of safety no way will we come back from that. Away to Bristol city on Tuesday night. I'm disappointed and angry with our terrible performance this season. I don't mind telling you I'm also feeling emotional too cos I know relegation is more and more of a reality every week.

The final nail isn’t in the coffin yet, but the lid is open only by the slightest crack.. At this point, with the Terriers showing no signs of improvement and results elsewhere going firmly against them, we have to now effectively consider them a League One team in waiting.

It was already going to take a minor miracle for Neil Warnock to pull Huddersfield Town out of the mire, but he’d need a time machine, a whole summer’s pre-season and about four new signings to do it from here.

The facts are these. Town are now bottom of the table, seven points from safety, with one win in their last ten league games. They haven’t kept a clean sheet since December, have failed to score in four of their last five games, and have perhaps the toughest fixture list of any side in the division. They are done.

This just about sums it up nicely. We are doomed. :bigtears: :rolleyes:

Similar feelings to JohnBoy, Lost 1-3. got back to 1-1 with 15 minutes to go and then gave away two. Captain was responsible for all three goals. No idea how he still gets a game. Goodwin needs to drop him and probably Mulgrew and give some young boys a chance.

Generally better apart from the 2 CBs.............................

0-0 draw. Surprisingly enough we had plenty chances but could not get any in. Both sides had equal chances and non could capitalise so we got a point each. The Gap is 6 points which is still a mountain and looking at the remaining 11 fixtures we would struggle with them and I still don't think we'll escape. Next up is away to West Brom on Saturday. They are 9th in table having Condemned Wigan to the bottom slot.

1-1 away at Livie last night. 1-0 at half time, manager made some subs and seems to have done the trick for the second half. Two off were heading to get sent off, so positively proactive, unlike recent managers.
It helps but not too sure if it is too late.

Next game 18th March, home to St Mirren.... positive waves required. :)

A trip to West brom for our lads today. I very much doubt that we will get anything from there.
Good luck to all the teams that have a game this weekend. Hope they win. Wrap up well if you are going to a game and take care.

Away at Gills!

Good luck to all our teams this snowy, (Christmas) fixture weekend.

Good Job we're not at home!

Finished 1-0 to West Brom. Cardiff lost so the gap remains at 6 points. Next game Weds night home to Norwich City. Cannot see us getting anything from that either. Norwich are 2 points short of getting in to play off spot so they won't wanna jeapordise that.

A woeful performance. Lost 2-0.

Another great win for @Cumberland away at swindle.

Boro a good win.

Just us losers @johnboy412000.

Was jockland snowed off?
Bad luck mate. At least you aren't facing relegation. Just a thought but the way our lot are performing we may well end up in League 2 and get to play you guys. Be a good chance to have a drink together eh after the game lol.

Huddersfield Town are confirmed to have joined league leaders Burnley in having a transfer embargo imposed for the late submission of their annual accounts under EFL regulation 16.2.

That rule stipulates that Championship clubs must ‘submit a copy of its Annual Accounts (as defined in Regulation 16.3 below) to The League, but in any event … by no later than 1 March following the end of the financial year to which those Annual Accounts relate.”

Huddersfield Town will remain under embargo until the matter is resolved to the EFL’s satisfaction and confirmation has been provided in writing. So what does that mean for Town?

Another nail in our coffin. It's been a season that we will all be glad to see the back of. Let's hope this matter is resolved soon but even when it is we still need someone with some serious wonga to get us out of League one cos that's where we are going.

Now there's a stroke of luck. Norwich scored in both ends and it's finished 1-1. Cardiff also drew so the gap is still 6 points but alas our goal diff is much worse than Cardiff's so we need 7 points to escape which I really can't see us doing. Next up is a trip to the Den (Millwall) on Saturday. Now that will be tough.

Am on here cos I'm not enjoying our game, getting beat 2-0. Shocking, can't score!

The Den it is then for our lads tomorrow. Could be another nail in our coffin.
Good luck to all our teams playing this weekend. Hope they all win.
good result for your lot John!
we were awful again losing 3-1.
no words just bad!
