2022/23 Football Season.

Another 3 points gone west. God **** it what the heck are we playing at. Carry on like this and we'll be booting another manager out. :banghead::mad: Next up is an Away game to the Smoggies (Middlesbrough) on Saturday.
 
Our pizza cup game was a reserve/youth game, even though we haven't got either! (First team youngsters who are not near the starting eleven for a league game.
And we still won 1-0!
Not certain we will still qualify!

Harrogate away in Yorkie land. All 600 available tickets sold within a couple of hours.

Oh dear that's not good at all. Coventry have gone and beat Sheff Utd and now that leaves us rock bottom :( The other results have gone against us too so its looking grim. 5 points adrift of safety. 1 game in hand and that's the Coventry game that got postponed last month.

Ok another weekend of footy. Our lads travel to the North-east to face the Smoggies (Middlesbrough) That will be a game and a half cos both of us are struggling.
Good luck too all our teams this weekend.
 
Drew 0-0. But the other results went against us so the gap now is 5 points. Boro are the one that's 5 points above us. Home to Millwall next Saturday. I don't rate our chances there as Millwall are a bogey team and they are going great guns in 5th place.

Was at the Boro v Huddersfield game, both teams were very poor. How we went from beating Wigan 1-4 to not been able to hit a barn door with a shovel. I'm seriously worried about this season now!

I know how you feel mate. We are Rock bottom and I can't see us escaping unless our owner opens his wallet to let the manager buy better players.
 
Now there's a spot of good news. Dean Hoyle is standing down and a new owner is being sought. Hopefully it won't be too long before a new owner is found and hopefully one with some brass to buy us a decent team and power us out of the drop zone. I live with baited breath.
 
1-1 draw v Rochdale last night.
Tough game, but still not lost in seven.
gotta step it up on Saturday.
 
The big game tomorrow. Home to Millwall. Lets see how many points we can scramble from that. One thing is for certain we need a new owner and fast.

I wonder if the coverage will resemble a top European fixture. Or even a decent crowd at Prenton Park or Brunton Park?
