2022/23 Football Season.

Away to Preston for our lads today. Not sure how that will go. I think they will batter us. Morale in the Town camp is very low at the moment and a large percentage of town fans on the Facebook group page have resigned themselves to thinking of a life in the League one. With the owners of the stadium staring at possible administration and nobody wanting to buy the club its looking bleak.
Good look to all our teams playing today. Hope they win.

Well I'm shocked we actually won a game. Preston 1 Town 2 we sure needed that and are now 4 points adrift of safety with Cardiff kicking off tonight. If they lose and we hope they do then the gap remains 4 points. Home to Rotherham on Thursday night.

We had a lovely Christmas, Boxing day surprise, we won!
A comfortable 3-0 victory, we did play well and clinical good footballing goals.

But I couldn't believe how bad Donny Rovers were. It was really shocking!

Onwards to Barrow, hope it's not as cold as it was in Prenton Park yesterday!

Glad you had a good Christmas and well done to Tranmere

Right at the end, which is a good way away from home.

Dundee Utd playing tomorrow!
Been an interesting couple of days
Hearts at home, always difficult. Take lead and they level. Should have had a pen, goalie took out Fletcher, in the event the goalie, Craig Gordon, broke his leg in two places and the photographs of him standing and one of his legs not looking at all right.... VAR said no pen!!, we took th e lead and they equalised in 94th min pen from an ex Utd player Shankland.... Gordon is 40 and unlikely to come back from that.

Last night 3-0 win at home to Ross County, who we now leapfrog over and now longer bottom Huzza. Tidy win playing well....

More please.

Sad news.

Pele has died.

I was privileged to watch probably the best player of the last century at Goodison Park in 1966. Brazil v Portugal.
Even though he didn't play most of the game. You could tell how good he was!
Eusebio was also world class, for Portugal. Scoring a vital goal.

RIP

Oh yes we are on fire won 2-0. Another 3 points in the bag. Just 2 points between us and safety. Home to Luton on New Years day. Bring it on. Might be a tough one though cos Luton have just thrashed QPR 3-0 tonight.

RIP Pele
The 1970 Brazil team was first World Cup I remember (was only 3 in 1966) so no recollection of England champions

But I do remember Pele, Jairzinho and Tostao for Brazil what a team of talent
