2024/25 Football Season

And there it goes. 3 wins out of 3 games. 4 wins if you count the cup match. Still not managing to hit the target as much as we should be. We remain in 2nd place cos Stockport have scored 3 more goals than us. Meanwhile Charlton are in 3rd with a 3rd win and are behind us cos we have scored 1 more goal than them. Next game is a cup game Away to Walsall on Tuesday night and then comes a Yorky Derby down at the New York Stadium to face Rotherham next Saturday 12:30pm kick off. The way things are going for Rotherham we could make that 4 outta 4. Watch this space.

What a great result, what a terrible game.
Warsaw are bullies.
C'mon the udders.
Hopefully we will beat em on Tuesday night. Not too concerned though cos it's only a cup game. Focus more on the League and keep the unbeaten run going and more importantly gain promotion back where we came from.

Next up is Leicester (booo)
In the cup.
Can't see us getting anything.
Hang on, it's the cup, giant killing, we are ragarse Rovers, that is what we do!
Well done Dundeeutd.

2-0 v St Johnstone
Young lad on loan from Liverpool getting absolute pletters for a couple of back passes...
Takes his goal really well.
They had a boy sent off, two red cards.
At the end their goalie flaps the ball into his own net following a long throw...
good win

Well done all our teams :)

Well done.

Sven-Goran Eriksson, the esteemed former England manager, has passed away at 76.

Eriksson, who led England in 67 matches from 2001 to 2006, guided the national team through two World Cups and a European Championship, reaching the quarter-finals in each tournament. Before his death, he served as sporting director for Karlstad in Sweden but stepped down in February 2023 after revealing his battle with terminal pancreatic cancer.

Another football great gone. RIP Sven.

Trip to Warsaw tonight to see if we can do what Tranmere did on Saturday and more importantly keep our winning streak going even though it's a cup game they still count. UTT.

Often hounded by our gutter press.
But will always be remembered for that victory v Germany.
R.I.P. Sven.

Oh well we failed to do what Tranmere did on Saturday. We lost 3-2. By all accounts Walsall played us off the field. We had a man sent off after 42mins. Oh well it was only a tin pot cup. Lets see if we can fetch 3 points back from Rotherham on Saturday. And more importantly try to keep the winning League streak going.
@Lamont D bad luck mate beaten 4-0 by the foxes.

That was a bad result mate.
I did say we were lucky last Saturday.

We were solid but they were too good, especially after the ref gifted them a peno.
It was a dive.
Knocked the stuffing out of us.

Yeah, mate, a tin pot Mickey mouse cup. Ha!

Yeah it was indeed mate. We blew it big time. Onwards and Upwards the league is more important.

Ok tomorrow we need to put the Cup disaster behind us and get back to winning ways otherwise Rotherham will whop us. latest news from our camp is we are anxiously waiting to see if we can sign Joe Taylor from Luton. Watch this space. He's well needed.
Good luck to all our teams playing this weekend.

Signed one from swindon. Might be another, we will wait and see.
Carlisle tomorrow.
Unless we play really well, can't see us getting owt.
Best of luck to all our teams playing this weekend.

Away at Hearts tomorrow.
Could be tricky as they have started really badly and it would be the way it is if they get something from us...

Good luck to all our teams!!

And we end up losing 2-1 :( According to sources that penalty should never have been a penalty and it didn't warrant a sending off. Bah Humbug down to 3rd place now. haven't got a game next week for some unknown reason unless it's internationals so next game is Sept 14th Away to Bolton.
