Are type 2's okay to eat quark and mozzarella please, I'm looking to add more low fat low carb foods to my low carb low fat diet.

Both are fine, both low in carbs.

I love cheese. Haven't had any mozzerella lately as I used to put it on pizzas. Maybe I should try one of these alternative bases.............. or just melt some on a bit of chicken....mmmm getting hungry now.

I did use quark in a recipe for something. Cheese is great for low carbers.

rude d/n nurses and being treated like im wierd because im diabetic
who mentioned cheeseeeee yummm !!! ive had the cauli pizza and was delicious to whatever you try enjoy it x

Just don't expect it to taste o breads, how ever the cauli base is good plus you can put all the cheesey meaty toppings on to give it that booom

You can´t do low carb AND low fat at the same time. That leaves you with protein as the main energy provider and a lot of protein can do bad things to firstly your kidneys and secondly to your bg.

IMO, low carb is good, low fat is a disaster to health. So in short, the fatter the cheese, the better for you.

Wouldn't like to live in Japan apparently it is very rare to find cheese there and they haven't even got a word for it in Japanese
I am a real cheese addict couldn't live without it

A high proportion of Japanese are lactose intolerant, which is why cheese is hard to find out there. It is available but the decent stuff is a luxury item.
