Andy,Phew Catching up...... started riding my bike home and to work (14 miles each way and hillllllly ouch) driving up reigate hill seems a lot flatter but hey ho, i only nearly fell off twice last night and once this morning so getting better with the pedals I've also nearly mastered the timing the traffic lights so i can keep my feet locked into pedals, only one near fatality doing this so far, my legs are gone but it must be doing me good right?.... right? we have been going out every night geocaching as my 11 yr old LOVES it hehe, i do too luckily but even if i didn't id have to go anyway, england playing football wasn't good enough reason not to go lol (thank you sky+), so a busy weekend finding treasure and on the mountain bike, which is cool as my butt needs a rest from the road bike, the mountain bike seat feels like sitting on fluffy pillows after the spike they call a seat on the road bike, I've pretty much stopped runningcan't find the motivation but once the legs get used to the bike ill pick it back up, anyway well done everyone your doing great!
How lovely!Well tomorrow Im taking eldest daughter to get a dress for her graduation ball.
Safe to say I will spend a lot longer than 30 minutes wandering around Glasgow with her .....

Fantastic news Mrs Vimes!Sat here chuckling at some of the posts. My arms and legs are knackered from yesterday so I walked for 45 minutes to and from the nearest supermarket to put the lotto on. Not many people out walking. Hadn't noticed that before.
Weather absolutely gorgeous out. First time I've worn sunglasses this year.
Have found a running club very local that does beginners run next Wednesday. I'm going to give it a go. I hate the treadmill.
Bit scared though. Got a nice email saying walking or running not a problem

Confession.
I am not very virtuous today. Struggled to get out of bed 10.30am. Back to bed with severe headache at 12.45pm. Just emerged with slightly less painful head, but not up to much. Does finger exercise typing on keyboard count? No, thought not. I will try to get my 30 minutes by strolling round the garden. Probably have to break it up into 10 x 3 minute chunks though.
Absolutely useless yesterday - (bottom lip juts out like a helicopter landing pad)
Ended up working all day, and the only exercise I got was to work off my bingo wings for a few minutes trimming the hedges.
This morning I'm off on a bike ride though - and I'm already being shouted at to get off the pesky forum and get my shorts on!
Catch you all later! xxHave a fantastic day everyone!
If you're ever tempted, make sure you hang on to your pollylocks! ;-)

Andy,
Paul is WELL impressed and says come and ride with TeamBG for a stage of the ride - stage 2 and 3 still have a couple of places left. Get cracking and you should be able to raise enough sponsorship to cover the entry fee too! It would be such an awesome adventure!
