My income support has a very basic dental plan. It doesnt allow 2 plans.Have you looked into coverage under the new Canadian Dental Care Plan? According to the website dentures are one of the 100% covered procedures if your income is less than $75,000 per year. If income is more than that then they cover a percentage.
I hope you are able to get some help with these problems.
What do you mean, @cdpm?Today I reached my end.
I could see it getting closer and did all I could.
So I just live my life.
Thanks everyone for trying to help.
I might come back with an update another time.
Thank you . That is reassuring.Nothing stupid like killing myself
Just can't do the stress anymore

Update on measures I'm taking.Well I'm very near my edge with the high bg and insulin caused hunger and weight gain and leg pain and leg/foot cramps.
So if I must continue on insulin and keep increasing to reach the goal, I will have to take other measures.
I must be able to dress myself, and get up my stairs, and bathe myself.
I have asked for medical help, medical supports. They are non existent or have very little time in the appointments.
So to address my leg issues I have no ideas for the pain but for the stairs maybe do a few minutes a day to a few fav. songs marching on the spot. With only the expectation of keeping my legs moving.
To address the ravenous hunger I have 1 idea to increase protein somehow.
To address the weight gain I can only come up with eating 500 calories a day.
To address the high bg that isn't responding to the insulin all I can think of is requesting metformin.
It has bothered me extremely in the past (runs) but I'm mostly housebound from the same issue (runs) from nearly every food I eat so how much worse can it be? But maybe help me?
Did i miss any?
Today I call the dr- He's a phone endo. Dr I have-- to request metformin.
I will try to remember to come back to post what happens with that.
Any ideas on what to take the morning ones with?Update on measures I'm taking.
The metformin request. I did request it and I'm to take 2 tablets 2 x a day.(2000mg total) Imagine my difficulty pulling that off eating only once a day! The drug store said a glass of milk (disgusting) can be taken with the 2 morning tablets. So since I don't drink milk I figure that a cup of 2 percent goes about 120 calories so I just need a drink equal to that. Not being juices.
But since I'm going slowly and am now at 2 a night I have a bit of time to figure something out then go slow to get to the both morning pills. It can't have many calories as they get deducted off my 1 meal calories.
And I don't hope for them to help my bg. I already gave up on that. My hope is less hunger.
Well since none of my meds change any of my numbers I'm not sure what consequences I'd face from discontinuing them.Your choice, true. We all have that option, and all have to accept the consequences of the choices we make. I hope this turns out to be an acceptable choice for you.Thoughnot one I would recommend.
