ally1,s BS levels

i rang the surgery on thursday and the receptionist wouldn,t give them to me
i have the diabetic nurse on the 14th so will get the results then
breakfast 8.7 and 7.9
 
They should give them to you, maybe the receptionist may feel stupid reading out numbers they don't understand, that's the only reason I can think of. But they are yours and they really should tell you.
 
You only wanted your HbA1c, not loads of other numbers. I think this is a reasonable request., but not unknown for it to be refused.
 
Some receptionists aren't allowed to read results, although they should be when they've been reviewed by the HCP's.

Ally, when you go, ask for a printout. From the DSN. They are not allowed to refuse.

Your blood readings are looking so much improved now Ally. Be very proud of yourself...

You did well over Christmas. I am sure your hba1c will be vastly improved compared to the last one..
 
Well done ally, you deserve this, you have worked so very hard at it.:) I can't wait to hear your results! Do get a printout as donnellysdogs suggests.

Are your waistbands only 2cm looser?

Ally, my waist was the last thing to really show a difference, then at the end, I could almost see it shrink before my eyes. My rear, and bosom were the things that really disappeared quickly.
 
i was hoping for more to have come off. i am in smaller joggers, waist a bit tight but legs are looser

Yay!! Sadly, we don't get a say in where the padding goes from, but it's going for you.

So love to read your improvements Ally. Makes me in so much a happier frame of mind reading them. And Dow we have measurements too!!!

Can you imagine those 3cm's and 2cm's of fat being laid out on a butchers slab? I can..... So well done Ally.... I am imagining now how many meals I could have got from those 3cms and 2cms of fat on a slab.....that is **** good going. You just don't give yourself enough credit for your improvements. Stand tall and be very proud Ally. Arm raised, fist clenched and a bloody geprear pt big shout of "yes".... Is what I would be doing if I was you!!.. Good on you Ally..
 
I bet when the nurse weighs you it will show a loss...and as you said you were going to try low carb higher fats now in the new year the weight will fall off. It did with me. My only problem is stopping losing any more now. I lost over 2 stone Ally. And eat more than I did before!
Today I had bacon eggs for breakfast with mushrooms
For lunch was a nice pork chop with cauliflower cheese green beans and baby carrots. A big plateful
For meal tonight I'm having a nice stew with beef cubes onions mushrooms and chopped up veg. And berries and low carb homemade vanilla and raspberry ice cream
Best diet ever! Well done you. Very proud of you!
