I’m so sorry to trouble anyone. Went to GP yesterday as I thought I had a water infection. She said there was sugar in my water. Blood tests tomorrow. Today I’ve felt shocking. Toilet all the time and my head is banging Tonight I’ve started with pain in my left arm. Any help would be appreciated. I’m so scared x

Welcome to THE forum! Are you in the UK? If so I would phone 111 immediately and tell them about today's developments. Let us know how you get on

How are you now? Pain in the left arm is a bit, you know... You hanging in there? Did you call 111? (I think you might've felt like you shouldn't, as even posting on a forum felt like troubling people. But you're no trouble at all! None!)

If you turn out to be diabetic, we're right here and we'll give you any assistance we can in navigating and controlling this. Okay? Just get that heart checked out first. I know it might be part of a panic attack due to the stress of it all, but if it isn't... Just be safe.

Hi. Spent the night in a&e. Heart ok. Just panic attack. She’d lots of tests just waiting for consultant this morning. Sugar is high but no one seems to know what us happening, been told to wait until this afternoon. Thank you.
Stress can up blood sugars too. Try to relax a little. Your heart is fine, which is absolutely wonderful news, and if you're diabetic, there's a world of things you can do about it. You're going to be fine. We've got you.

So they sent me home and said rang me this afternoon and said the result was 38 of the blood test. This was the one they did this morning and I hadn’t eaten since 8 last night or had a drink. They said this was in normal range. But I’m still feeling unwell and going to the loo loads. ???

That's good news as far as your blood glucose goes. It's actually at the lowest end of normal, so it's fine.

Clearly, if you're still feeling ill, it's unlikely to be anything to do with your blood glucose levels. Nobody on here can or should try to diagnose, but I know from bitter experience that kidney/bladder infections can be awful and have some unexpected symptoms. My advice - talk to your doctor - easier said than done, I know.

Does sound more like a bladderinfection or something similar, then. Not diagnosis, just saying in what area a solution might be found. @KennyA makes a good point. Deliver some wee to your doc, and ask whether something's wonky. The 38 sounds perfectly fine, so... Time to look elsewhere! (For things that aren't possibly chronic in nature, yay!)
