I have 100 % rye I don't think a lot of the breads advertised as low carb are really low carb.enough for diabetics.I wondered what is best bread for me i am carb counting and need to get bread that is easy to get i cant afford to get speialist bread online so need one that is available from supermarket
That is the recipe @bulkbiker Thank you for posting it. I am not sure what psyllium we use but it makes the bread a dark purple in colour!I would imagine it is this one @asparagusp

Mr E is the cook in this household and he used ground almonds. They haven't collapsed but they are sometimes hollow. They do look a little underdone if you pull them apart. I hope you make them again, as I love them! They really are bread like to my mind! I will be trying them toasted tomorrow!@ellagy
I made these rolls last week. I took them out of the oven after 50 minutes and they were beautifully well risen.
Then they collapsed and were soggy inside.
I don't know where I went wrong. I used ground almonds. Is that correct or do they need the higher protein almond flour like the one made by Sukrin?

Nairns tend to be around the 4g - just depends on which brand/type you have.Oatcakes are 6g an oatcake.
