In my brain, sugar and cereal are not health food, diabetic or not. But that's just my OCD diet.
I can't function without having breakfast. First thing I do when I wake up between 6 and 7am is put the kettle on to make a brew and then have a bowl of cereal, porridge or 3 - 4 weetabix.
unfortunately that was my downfall too Ive had 3 weetabix for breakfast everyday since I was about 7 and sometimes I would have it in the evening totally shunning anything cooked I realise now that what I thought was a healthy option was anything but.I can't function without having breakfast. That is very interesting. My glucose level is high when I wake up (9.1) After I have breakfast it starts going down. I will try what happens if I don't eat till lunch.Well, this is interesting, and I know a lot of us skip breakfast to help control our blood glucose. Here's a biochemist with Type 2 diabetes joining the fray.
