*grins * I know it's high fat, not high fructose lol , I think ... what I'm doing is or seems to be working , but I am failing to meet the calories, today it was 1032 cal, 42g carb, 51g fat , on a percentage of the daily intake my carbs were carbs 16% protein 47and fat 37% my sugars being high 5's or early 6's) according to my fitness pal app) . So my question is, would the healthy fats affect my weight loss ?
Please say no, I'm dying for a gorgeous cup of creamy coffee.
Have a cup and see.
Sorry if that sounds frivolous, but it really is the way to find out if your body will benefit.
You will find a whole range of dieters on here.
Some count cals, others count carbs and cals, some eat to their meter and ignore the cals...
And once people find what works, they tend to suggest it for others...
(I'm on the very low carb, high fat, no counting cals, end of the scale, but I don't think that suits everyone!)
But the reason there are so many different diets and different dieters out there, is because each of our bodies are unique, and we each have different medical histories, genetic factors, etc.
Sorry if this is turning into a bit of a lecture!
For me, for my body, it seems to boil down to this:
Am I in ketosis?
Am I reasonably active? (My body needs a min 5-7,000 steps a day)
Am I eating few enough carbs to avoid carb cravings?
Am I drinking 1litre for every 5stone body weight every day?
Am I eating enough (fat) to be satisfied every meal?
If the answer to all of those is yes, then I will
slowly lose weight. No counting cals, no hunger, no cravings, and I'll enjoy my bulletproof coffee during the process.
