Happily I have a wonderful chemist who will even deliver to my door if needed, if he hasn't got something in he will phone to apologise and send as soon as he has it to save me a journey,
well I find every time I go to pick up a prescription something is missed off it I then info0rm the chemist who say oh they have not sent from the doctors so i go see them and they say its the chemist..today i picked up my repeat prescriptions.... no testing strips, so up to the surgery i went to get another prescription they said they should have given you them but they didn't so they gave me another prescript and I went down town to another chemist to get them laughs who then tried to persuade me into going to them for my prescripts .....
I know, don't know why............I mean the distance from the surgery to the chemist is short, but I would assume any delay would be down to the actual doctor going through them all, then sending out.....
Father in law has problems with boots, just keep sending stuff that he doesn't need and missing regular meds. Docs say its chemists.
I have been with another chemists for a couple of months and no probs yet, and they deliver. Sorted my new meds no probs. fingers crossed.
Well never mentioned the Chemist but you hit it on the head laughs and yes am thinking of moving am giving them one more month to see if they get it right
Never had a problem. Script at Lloyds, I tick and sign each month what I need for following month.. Always there. If there is any query as when all other meds but insulin, tubigrip and strips was removed at my request the chemist or prescription clerk phones me. Have dome this way for at least 2 years and never had anything out of stock. Not available etc...
My GPs and Lloyds work really well together. The chemist as well when having different painkillers etc always went through beyond basics with me.
