Every year as a younger child I got a new board game, which was fab because we played with it all holiday. In fact I still have my original Cluedo and Monopoly.

Monopoly was always a family favourite, another game we would get at Christmas was a game called Frustration.

My dear old nan once bought us monopoly she must of saved for ages , I found it in the garage a few years ago ,,sadly the mice had found it to ...
Great game ..I could play it now ;)

Maybe we should all get roller skates, great exercise but I'm a bit worried about the broken bones and the neighbours laughing at me going up and down the road!
What a great idea ..and just remembered that pogo stick :)
I would love a roller skate party :D

One of the bestest board games was 'Risk'. Conquer the world in two hours!

Cluedo was always played in our house!

Those little clementines in the stocking
Definitely, in one of my grandpa's socks, because he had the biggest feet.
Also every year the Eagle annual with Dan Dare, pilot of the future, seized and read at 3 or 4am Xmas morning.
My best ever present was a Hornby Dublo electric train set (all-metal three-rail track) and the second best a Mamod model steam engine.

Just remembered about a horse racing game that used manpower to work but I can't for the life of me remember the name of it!

Lego! My youngest got loads to build, I enjoyed my every spare moment building them for him. The pirate ship was pride of place.

My train set had rails like this

I striped my train to all the bits. My Dad hit the roof, and told me if don't fix it no more presents ever.I did put it put it all back together, he then thought I was a genius. those were the days.

Memories ... my brother has always been a bit absent-minded ... round the Christmas dinner table we had got to the pud and Gran brought in a silver jugful of cream ... she gave it to my bro. "Is this real silver?" he asked, and slowly and carefully tipped it upside down to see if it was hallmarked. Cream on lap, table, carpet, but not on pud :grumpy:
