I’ve bought 3 books by Katie & Giancarlo Caldesi, they have restaurants in Bray, Bucks and London. Giancarlo developed diabetes and he’s a chef. They have quite a few books on Amazon, which is where I bought mine. I‘ve found that no one caters for diet controlled diabetes!!Having just been diagnosed prediabetic I'd like to start as I would hope to go on and get to grips with the food aspect.

Apologies for derailing the thread! I think what's happened is that i didn't read the title :-( lesson learnedMy favourite book to date is The Diabetes and weightloss cookbook. You can get a copy for about £5 on ebay - great recipes in this book too, lots of colourful visuals and info that is clear and easy to understand.
Mod edit to remove content irrelevant, which derailed thread.
This is a cookery book I've recently added to my collection and it really is excellent, not just for diabetes but for healthy eating in general. Lots of great recipes and info. Very colourful too which I love.Having just been diagnosed prediabetic I'd like to start as I would hope to go on and get to grips with the food aspect.
