Daily Mail andLCHF

I may be wrong, but is he saying anything different to @Southport GP and Dr David Cavan, who have been promoting this form of healthy lifestyle for some time?

For me anybody's fruit & veg knock Lidl's & Aldi's into a cocked hat. It's like being timewarped back to Kwiksave.

Dr Aseem Malhorta is credited with writing the Daily Mail Article and does write about 4 tablespoons of olive oil a day. He does mention the benefits of a meditereanean way of eating. He is not stipulating heavy use of cream and does state less than 50g of carb per day.
His articles these past two days so far seem to advocate some fat but not high fat.

The term 'High Cholesterol', 'raised Cholesterol' etc gets used in several Contexts , and I think when its discussed different people understand it in different ways. I was in the dark on how LCHF and Lipids could be affected until I saw Prof Ken Sikaris present this topic in Melbourne at the Lowcarbdownunder conference.
I found it extremly helpful in understanding my Bloods whilst following a LCHF lifestyle.

And if you are wondering if this guy has any experience in pathology.
A graduate of the University of Melbourne, Dr Sikaris trained at the Royal Melbourne, Queen Victoria, and Prince Henry's Heidelberg Repatriation Hospitals. He obtained fellowships from the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia and the Australasian Association of Clinical Biochemists in 1992 and 1997 respectively. Dr Sikaris was Director of Chemical Pathology at St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne between 1993 and 1996. A NATA-accredited laboratory assessor, Dr Sikaris specialises in Prostate Specific Antigen, cholesterol and quality assurance and is currently chair of the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry Committee on Analytical Quality. His expertise is highly sought and he has presented extensively at national and international symposiums.
I havent seen anyone contradict the science here.

Prof Ken Sikaris´s presentation is simply brilliant!
