The dietdoctor link tends to classify burning muscle as another myth, (unless you have no body fat left) in the link above.
Then again @NurseDee how many calories a day are you eating, and is there a specific weight loss target?
Agree one more time haha. I too believe as long as there IS body fat to burn your body will burn that before muscle. Of course there does need to be enough protein for maintenance and repair. This is another reason fasting is beneficial for weight loss. If one keeps eating food the body will burn the food before the fat on your body. LC is always good in my opinion but if you want to lose fat you don't need to eat high fat. Though some healthy fat is beneficial. But there should always be some protein in a diet.
