Diabetic Review...

I'm so pleased and happy with myself. I've had my first review with DN today since being diagnosed with T2 in June. My hba1c levels have dropped from 90 (10.4%) to 43 (6.1%) and I've lost 7kg in weight. Nurse was very pleased with me. Still got a long way to go weight wise but my clothes are looser and I feel better so that's enough encouragement for me to carry on :)))

Thank you everyone for your kind replies. Carraway, I haven't really got any tips. I've cut out all junk food and only eat red meat once a week. I eat a lot of chicken, turkey and salmon with different herbs/spices, plenty of fresh veg and I don't have many carbs. I also use a smaller kids melamine dinner plate so I have less portions.
