Hi, I was very strict when I got diagnosed for about 5 weeks and was losing roughly a pound a day. It isn't sustainable so I added things and increased quantities and increased my exercise until I got to the stage of losing approximately two pound a week. This is sustainable and I am enjoying some old foods again (like Magnum ice creams every so often and I am going to have a nice steak and kidney pie and chips for lunch - of course in moderation and only about 100g chips and make up the rest with carrot sticks if I need more)
