Does Anybody Else Not Know Their Blood Group?

Not a clue!
:)

From repeated evidence-gathering multiple times a day from a variety of digits, though, I can confirm that it is red.
;)

Haven't got a clue! We used to have it on our dog tags in the Army but that was a long time ago can't remember :-0

So no royalty in your lineage, then? No Martians either !

I'm A+. I found out when I used to donate blood and again when I had an op.

Ashamed to say I don't, not the foggiest :(

O- lots of blood tests and gave blood for ever!

Till told not to by my endocrinologist as too much insulin! And being in hypo hell!

Don't know about now!

All family is 0-, we are very common you know!

Just ordered a Home Test kit for £9.88, will report back my experience with results:)

I know mine - O positive :)

I've known for years. I just asked my doctor and he told me. Must have been in my records somewhere :)

As a donor(unit every 6 months) until my bleed stroke (the computer says no) I know mine
BRh+

My GP notes always has my blood type on, as far back as I remember (Teens)
Snap! Me too, I was told that we have a rare blood group, can't remember the percentage but it was under 5% of the population I think
My hubby is O rh negative, and he's always getting letters from Blood Donor Service to make sure he attends every six months to donate. I used to donate before t2

O rh negative. I found out after giving birth to my first child, I was given an injection of antibodies to protect any future pregnancies where the baby was 0 positive - apparently my antibodies would view O positive as an "intruder" and attack them. I only needed the jab after an O positive baby though - three of my five children were O positive.

A+. Gave blood before diagnosis and had trasfusions after giving birth. Fair exchange I suppose...

I've had 2 children but have never been told my blood type. Yesterday, I came back from holiday to find 3 messages asking me to phone the health centre. I was told I have an IGA deficiency and might have to carry a medical alert card, due to the possibility of having a bad reaction to any blood transfusions.

The good news is that my gluten free diet is working!:)

All I have to do now is stick to the diet and avoid any nasty accidents!

BT O+. I follow the blood type diet loosely. I used to follow it strictly but I would say I am still 90%. It improved my health emensly but of course I do a low carb version. Happens that BT O should following ketogenic diet. Bingo!!

That's so true about mothers. Yvonne's is A Resus Negative, do quite rare and needed to know that when we had the children because of anti bodies I believe:)

Might think about getting a private test and putting it on my iphone's home screen with my T2 stuff ;)

I gave blood then was reminded my blood group at maturnity due to negative and positive dont mix i believe. An opposite rhesus can cause miscarriages in the following pregnancy. Its rejected as a foreign body.
