Does anyone

Yes, but I'm a stable T2 and eat sensibly to a revolving measured 2wk menu, so I do not hack into my fingers every single day at set times now I know what affects my readings and by how much.
I rarely eat out, but when we do its a visit to a trusted eatery (where I'm known) but even so I revert back to full testing until next mid morning. I also fully test when not firing on all cylinders, until back to my normal.

Yes weeks sometimes
When I know what i am eating and feeling good
only test a lot when i don't feel well manly to rule Db out as the problem

Trying something new out now so testing every meal at the moment

I think if your type 2 and well controlled then you certainly can take a break from testing every now and then if you are eating the same meal and therefore have an understanding on its effect. As a type 1 I test 8 - 12 times a day religiously and would never take a off... much to my fingers dis-pleasure!

Yes. It gets boring after a while if the numbers are always the same and, if you have to pay for your own strips, testing is expensive.

I usually only test if I'm experimenting with something (a new food, or some different exercise) or if I feel that my control is starting to slip a bit.
