Hi allllll,

I'm dying to share my results!

My family and friends are pleased so far too but i feel the need to share with you peeps who understand more how good it feels to have a day like this... :)

Typical day on MDI:

Upon waking - 6-8mmol.
An hour or so later breakfast time - 13-20's mmol (dawn phenomenon i assume)
Dinner- 7-14mmol (usually still waiting to come down from massive highs earlier)
Tea - 4-12mmol
Bed time 5-8mmol.

Not too bad apart from the horrible mornings, The occasional hypo, 1-3 a week maybe, and random highs too :(

TODAY on day FOUR of the insulin pump *drum roll*

3am test - 6.3mmol
Upon waking 7.00am - 6.8mmol
Breakfast 7.30am - 10.3mmol(still a slight rise from waking up)
Dinner 12.30pm - 7.8mmol
Tea 5.00pm - 5.8mmol
Bed time 11pm - 5.9mmol

Gotta say this is probably the best day i ever had with diabetes.

I also walked to the hospital, to my partners work, to town, to my work, to a friends house, and just now walked back from my sisters house. So quite a bit of exercise, but had a glucose tablets every now and then for a boost as i'm not playing with temporary basal rates yet. ( i tested frequently due to all the walking and was pretty much level with the meal readings all day)

I also has some crisps shortly after dinner as i was still peckish and just bolused with no BG so that was fine too.

I'm just feelin pretty chuffed with it all today and REALLY wanted to share :)

Spanks.
