Eating with the family

As the diabetes diet is good for anyone it's worth trying to bring all of the family down the same route. My wife wanted to lose a lot of weight so has been happy to go down the low-carb, average fat & protein diet which has enabled her to lose a lot of weight and helps control my blood sugar; a Win-Win.
 
Hub did chicken last night he seems to get blank spots so

Me...ummm ok will have 40g after good look at carbs n cals (l felt guilty bless he does try)
l did find a tiny tiny perfect roast spud (not sweet a proper one)
l was in heaven it was bliss all 7gram or 1cm circumfrence of it....forget the rest that made my night :-))
 
i conviscated a itsy bitsy ickle wickle field mouse from one of our cats once, she was not impressed and ignored me for weeks, she would literally sit on the arm of the chair and face away from me in disgust

I know some people down the pub who act like that.
 
I'm missing mashed potatoes is all oh yes and gravy. Original poster get back
to the table with family .chatting and laughing part of meal times.Will make you feel less out of things :)
