Sorry you’re not feeling well, hope you feel better soon, fingers crossed for a good lipid panelOoop! My post for yesterday got lost somewhere in the ether it seems. Nothing exciting it was a rest day FBG a bit higher than usual (due to a cold) I think at 6.4

Feeling better today though, still no appetite though really .. have to give blood for cholesterol panel later this morning so will eat after that. Looking forward to a workout later. The sun is out .. punch ag and kettlebells in the garden I think!
I realised I had left yesterday's FBG in - now edited to 5.8.Great going on the physical activity, diet and FBG!
Cheers mate. LOL yes, pesky it certainly is. I'm expecting both Lipids and A1C to have taken a bit of a backwards step. Going on statins puts the BG up, coming off them puts them up. Had a couple of bugs recently which I'm sure again has messed around with the BG levels. But taking solace in the knowledge that they'd be higher without the diet control and the exercise. If the blood tests show that there's no liver damage from the last lot of statins and that cholesterol levels are still too high, then I'll be starting on yet another type of statin and see how I progress on that. Who knows, maybe this new statin will cause my BGs to go down a bit instead LOL!Sorry you’re not feeling well, hope you feel better soon, fingers crossed for a good lipid panel
Diabetes is so pesky isn’t it, type 2’s b/s goes up when you’re unwell whereas mine goes down
Low alarm has gone off 4 times today already, starting at 4am, sure I eat too much for my size, not complaining though

... low carb banana & walnut bread & butter ...
Whole loaf has 2 bananas in it, lots of walnuts & eggs & made with coconut flour, called bread but probably more cakey & delicioushow do you manage to get the words 'low carb', 'banana' and 'bread' into the same sentence? is this some form of culinary carbon capture and storage?
I've heard of lower carb banana bread made with a bit less sugar or using sweetener, but it is still not low carb really, how do you manage to get the words 'low carb', 'banana' and 'bread' into the same sentence? is this some form of culinary carbon capture and storage?

Sounds delicious, I have some coconut flour and half a pineapple spare, I might try a cake with these, sort of a cakey pina colada. No sugar or sweetener either
