Adding a little brandy to the xmas cakes, thought that a little quality control was needed.
They will be iced at the weekend so I won't be able to 'try' them again after that. I do my cakes in loaf tins

Poor you. Careful, it is a nasty one for some people can settle on the chest. I was lucky and just got a heavy cold, mum and daughter got chest infections and needed anti-biotics. If you start getting a wheezy or rattly chest see the GP.
