Fasting Blood Sugar this morning + yesterday's food AND physical activity

Good morning thanks for that link yesterday, couldn’t get it to play though
Had a better day yesterday b/s 9.2 when I got to work after gym & 4.5 after peleton
Copied you last night, had protein shake at 7pm & back in the 5’s this morning
Hope you got that document finished yesterday,
I have to proofread a lot of reports for work, thankfully notne as boring as yours yesterday
Seems like gym in the morning & Peleton after work equals more calories & better fbg

Fantastic BG levels yesterday! So glad that they didn't go crazy high, even after the intense workout in the AM.

Felt a bit tired yesterday but still did the workout .. once I got moving it was not so bad. I think I'll do some KB stuff today, swings, snatches and cleans .. less taxing on any individual muscle group .. give them a chance to rest.

I think it'll take another week for the mouth to heal fully. I did get some flavourings to put in the huel which are actually making it taste pretty good. I bought some little bottles of essences, I've got Almond, Orange, Banana, I use a different one each time. Add a tablespoon of PB and some vanilla essence and cocoa powder too and it is actually very tasty. I want this to be my last weekend without proper food though .. want to be able to eat out with my daughter at the weekends. It's that flippin' lunar crater left by the sideways growing wisdom tooth that is taking time to heal and is causing the pain when opening the mouth wide. But getting better everyday :rolleyes:

There is no rescuing that document from its tedium though. Frighteningly, some of the recipients will probably enjoy reading it :bag:
 
I can hear the next door neighbours new baby making it's presence felt today! I gave them a little care package yesterday, some baby grows, a big pack of nappies and a big box of Lindor chocolate balls to keep mum and dad fuelled for the next few days. Man I used to love those Lindt choccies!

2 mins of swings (1 min L, 1 min R)
2 mins of cleans (1 min L, 1 min R)
2 mins of snatches (1 min L, 1 min R)

Was feeling energetic after dinner so ..
Evening workout:
4 times around the mini circuit below with a pair of 16kg kettlebells
a. 50 x alternating chest press
b. 26 x gorilla rows
c. 10 x double kettlebell squat

Winds are still sounding very ominous here today. The neighbours baby is very good. Seems to behave just like my daughter did when she was born. She had a "Feed me, clean me, clothe and let me sleep, and I'll stop crying and I'll let you sleep too. Fail to wake up when I do and serve me when I'm demanding food or a nappy change and I'll make you sorry!!" attitude. It worked really well LOL. She stayed a good sleeper as she grew up, wanted cuddles and strokes to get off to sleep at night but once she went off to sleep she stayed that way until the morning. Can't complain at that :)

Defo a good idea to workout at home today. Stay home and stay safe. Can the house move not wait another day?

Mouth better than yesterday .. another week to go to get 100% No stitches as the teeth extracted were already fully erupted. So huge open craters in the gums .. the one from the extracted shattered molar is healing well, the one from the extracted wisdom tooth next to it is not healing so fast as it left a much bigger crater. But I think I'll be able to manage a Vietnamese soup tomorrow. Decent sized morsels of solid food are going to take a while.

You were lucky having such a laid back daughter, always used to say I’ve got a stressy Bessy & a laid back Larry, still true today

Mix of almond milk and water .. the Huel is pretty good nutritionally.

My daughter is still the same .. she's a very energetic and humorous kid but very laid back too. Same daft sense of humour as me .. drives her mum mad at times LOL.

Our neighbour had atree down yesterday afternoon, took 7 of us & 4 chainsaws over an hour to clear the road , not fun in gale force winds & fading light
Treadmill is really good, Saturday is my day off from exercise so just walking with friend this morning, but will walk on treadmill later

FBG up this morning as no medication yesterday
If I lift weights first thing at home & shower after seem to have better control, I’ll try running on the treadmill first thing tomorrow see if that works

Nice job though clearing it! Very helpful for eeryone. People are more collaborative where you are I think.
Neighbours on my road are nice but in general people are a little selfish. I had to clear blown wheelie bins off the main road to prevent accidents yesterday, nearly witnessed one as an artic swerved onto wrong side of road to avoid a wheelie bin blown into it's path. Other cars slowed down and drove around it! I mean.. come on!!! So I stopped and moved the bins off the road behind a wall so they won't blow out again and people are honking their horns at me to get a move on LOL That's the cities for you eh?
