Conscious, but very confused
Never pulled an all nighter before, I’m expecting to be very grumpy later

That's so worrying and distressing.
I've been through that a few times, it is so tough when they get older and more frail.
Mum has really bad balance and mobility due to her depressingly impressive range of medical conditions and medications.
I got her one of those emergency pendants some years back when I still worked in London as she used to get dizzy spells and fell a couple of times but couldn't get up. It proved very useful until I could get a job where I could work up here. Now she lives with me and I have fewer worries on that score, still keep the pendant alarm though, in case something happens when I am out. It is heart breaking and so worrying if they fall. Fingers crossed that she is OK. I'll be wishing you all well and thinking of you. Big hug. Hang in there.

Great she is conscious .. fantastic news! Good that they can't find anything wrong, means all the big immediate things that they worry about are OK. It happens .. and they are so confused when it does as they don't always remember exactly what happened and feel helpless and lose some confidence. But they get back to being as independent as they can over time. They are tough!

It’s great you were able to do that for your mum, even though it can’t be easy
My mum is fiercely Independent & does what she wants when she wants & won’t listen to reason, we live 10 miles away on the edge of a small village, no shops, pubs or buses,
I do what I can for her, shopping, washing, decorating, sorting her bills etc, we don’t want to sell our house & move back into a busy seaside town
Daughter’s going to see her tonight, don’t know what’s wrong with her yet, need to do a lot of thinking, brother doesn’t want to help
MODY test done yesterday along with a1c, took 3 full bottles of blood
Hope you & your daughter are having a great half term
Enjoy your day

That is so tough. Hang in there. I can certainly empathise, my mum's health and mobility issues made it easier for her to finally accept that she needs to have family around her now. It wasn't something that she wanted to give in to but I'm really glad that she did. She still has some crackers ideas of what she able to do safely though! Bless her LOL. Fingers crossed for your mum. I hope she's well and back home soon and that it all works out well. She might change her mind once she's had a chance to reflect.

Great that the MODY test got done!

Have a good day mate :)
