Sounds like a challenge to me. Anyhow 2:1 in the cricket not that I'm into it!Or for the party?
The question you pose, sounds exactly like those narrative maths questions about cisterns being emptied while simultaneously being filled at a different rate. Or perhaps more like the distance/speed /time problems I used to be so good at.
Are you drinking any water on the journey? Perhaps we could combine the cistern and energy formulae? Suppose you run all the way there for the nuts only to find the shop closed. How do we factor in the rise in body temperature, the fall in Serotonin, the surge in cortisol?
I never include my exercise in my calculations, as energy expenditure seems to be all about breathing, and who knows how much breath weighs these days?
( That is not a challenge, BTW)
Many thanks. I haven't tried setting light to one yet but will do at some stage.Aah! The cricket! Your England team is doing very well. The Australians have not ripened into greatness yet, but I have every confidence.....
The nutty question; if the advice is not to exercise vigorously during a FF, it is probably because of the adaptation time, so you could run, but not all out ( cricket term ) or, alternatively, up the fat calories. Marathon runners do better than sprinters on this regime, but Volek and Phinney say that it takes some weeks for full adaptation to the ketogenic WOE.
I rather think that running 10 Miles on a FF, while not fully adapted would make you feel very unwell
And your engine would be coughing and spluttering, with the needle on the gauge stuck in the middle, neither carb nor fat-burning.
There are other options - one is to eat more carbs before the run, as the body will use these first, for fuel the nuts could be more carby ones, for example.
But how you feel is the most important. The brain takes a while to be feeling good about changing.
I must say that your evident addiction to these Mac nuts, and the lengths you will go to, to get them, are a bit of a worry.. I think I will just go and light one for you.
@BaruneyI did see what you did there but I didn't want to put the wind up anyone's sails. I am very liberal with the salts and if exercising will use an eloctrolyte called high 5 zero and home made magnesium oil to avoid cramping. What's good for me might not be good for everyone though. BP and all that malarkey Ok.
Def will post later.@Baruney
Hey B
Liking the sound of Mg Oil to avoid cramping, any more info on that would be good.

Thanks @nosher8355 it's not new to me - I've been in and out of ketosis through various fasting routines. I normally intermittently fast.
What I'm hoping to do is get in to optimal ketosis and stay there! I've never (knowingly) been in ketosis longer than around half a day.
good stuff @nomistheman> 89/90% is there. with so few cals to play with it gonner be there or there abouts. how many miles did you on your c25 - about 4.5?Didn't quite manage the macros but, still fairly close I think:

Figured I'd add half the calories the C25K session would detract from my totals:

I've actually been eating knobs ...
...
...
Of butter!
I have totally loved this first day! It may be part adrenalin rush from the excitement of the first fat fast day but, I've had lots of energy and a clearer and sharper than normal mind.
Let's see what tomorrow brings ...
I thought not but in your original photo you said each fb was 334 cals.Absolutely not - you're out by 100 calories:
