hello!

I am looking for fatty low carb stuff to acccompany meat

for fish, I like full fat mayo very much

the problem is with meat, I can't find a taste that will be also fatty to eat with

is there a yoghurt like taste with much fat as mayo?

mustard would be nice, but it has no fat

any other suggestion?

is there any other salad or dip that is not very savoury (as mayo) because the meat is already savoury? I need a fresh neutral taste like yoghurt but very fatty

philadelphia cheese would be the closest I can think, but again it's not as fatty as mayo (75% fat) and it can be a bit sweet which I despise

is there a product for me?

thanks!

Full fat mayo + the spices/flavourings of your choice. Even the super, arkets have spice mixes these days: Creol, Mesquite, Soul Food, or various Indian?asian Flavours, all in the shake of the tub (of spices) on top of your mayo.

Even Balsamic vinegar or Worcester Sauce gives a kick. And for all the quantities you eat, usually negligible carbs.

Ooohhh, I love mayo but never thought of worsteshire. I will be trying that.

I use lots of different sauces and herbs and spices that I add to mayonnaise, yoghurt or cream, or a mix of mayonnaise and cream for example.

Mint with red wine vinegar and mayonnaise and cream to go with lamb

Mustard cream, worcestershire sauce and spring onions

Sometimes I use whipped cream, Sometimes double cream.

I love trying different flavours and doing a bit of experimentation.

Whisky or brandy, green peppercorns and double cream, after you have fried the chicken or steak in butter of course!

I like flavoured butters with my meats. Now that I've got my head sorted..(long story...) and can again eat red meat I rustle up some different kind of butters that I keep in freezer and cut some slices from them to melt on steak or what ever it is needed.
Mustard butter...made with mustard seeds and smooth 'jar stuff'.....herb butter...chilli and/or pepper butter, with fresh and dried incredients....garlic butter...olive-anchovy-black pepper butter....and, and.. :D

Greener doesn't cook. A read of previous posts is always useful..

Indeed...but we don't always read everything.
As for the flavoured butters...they can be bought ready made from supermarkets so no cooking involved..;)

Nope, but in this particular case, it might be well worth looking;)
