I can only echo everyone else sentiments. Work wise I can understand your struggles. As the others have said finding your place would make that so much better, possibly financially too. I know that’s far easier said than done, but it can be done. Meantime do work know about the autism? Did they ask about such conditions when they employed you? They are legally bound to make reasonable accommodations for disabilities and if you are formally diagnosed this would probably count. Are there roles there that would suit you better? Would a frank conversation outlining what would make you a more efficient worker be possible? (sell them the benefits to them not just those that help you, appealing to their self interests). Being disappointed in you feeling undervalued does sounds very “manager speak” and possibly lip service. But also it may be they have no idea what to do about it and suggestions or requests would save them the hassle of coming up with solutions or dealing with the consequences of not doing so.
Grief is hard but if the loss of your parents is an overwhelming part of your struggles then maybe cruise could help with some counselling. Around here there’s an agency called italk you can self refer to for counselling. Fees are sliding depending on circumstances. Maybe there’s something similar near you. Do you have special interests you can take refuge in when it gets too much to allow yourself downtime?
Finally whenever I’ve heard of someone not being able to carry on and taking that irreversible step out of life the outpouring of love, loss and grief would undoubtedly have been surprising to them as they were at that time unable to see their own value. You have so many issues right now it must seem overwhelming but there is always a way forward if you can but find it. I hope sincerely you find ways to improve your lot.
