As long as I remember (and well prior to T2) I've bought Fage Total 5% Fat Natural Greek Yoghurt online from Morrisons, Ocado, Tessco,. and Waitrose without any problems. (Though Morrisons may not have the 5% in small pots.)

It's not particularly high fat but I get my fats from a wide varierty of dairy and other fatty low carb sources.

Yes in Greek Yogurt we’ve always brought Fage, tho I have to confess that prior to the pre diabetes I was eating small fruity ones. I’m getting my taste buds more inline with the Greek and adding a few seeds for interest.

Grating a little very dark chocolate over it makes it into a dessert, adding chopped nuts even better, some days I've even added cream...yummy

Fage used to do 20% fat Greek yogurt but they seemed to have stopped that

My favourite is Lancashire Farm Greek Style Yoghurt, 9.3% fat, Free-Range bio-live milk. Comes in 1kg pots, very well priced, from Iceland.

I’ve not noticed that one when I’ve been looking. I’ll pop in to Iceland next time I’m in town and get a pot as it sounds good and healthy :)

Asda also do a decent full fat Greek Style yoghurt. I usually have 100g with 20g blueberries mixed in

Aldi always have 0% Greek yogurt (but, tbh, I don't think it's one bit like Greek yogurt). The one I can't find anywhere is 0% fromage frais. Does such a thing exist?

I buy Fage Greek yogurt, I get it from Tesco but have bought it in Morrisons too.
You can get delicious full fat 'Greek Style' Brooklea yoghurt from Aldi. But it's not live, so not so good for your gut biome. Yeo Valley do a live, organic one, which I let down with a bit of water before adding mixed seeds, berries and a tiny handful of oats for breakfast. I find the Fage OK but not as good as the others.

It's very bad for diabetics to be eating bad fats (LDL's) which come mostly from dairy fats. Concentrate on getting your fats from HDL's (olive oil, avocados etc...) or you'll give yourself heart attack cholesterol problems to add to your diabetes one. I highly recommend a Desmond (diabetes) course for everybody where you'll learn all this stuff!

I only shop at Tesco or Asda as I have to have home delivery, I’ve tried others in the past although not the Aldi one. I use it mainly in cooking rather than eating it “neat” and I find the Fage more stable with heat than others.

I tend to steer clear of “Greek style” as they tend to have more carbs, not many but when on 20g carb a day every little counts :)

Social mixing most sport, Soaps!
Thank you. Do you buy this one? I can’t find one that says it’s full fat.

Fage Total 5% Fat Greek

@Grace04 You are making the mistake that I did with yogurt :)
I didn't realise that Full Fat was only 5% or 10% fat. I assumed it was far more!
I like both Sainsbury and M&S Greek yogurt but there are lots of others. It's the Fat Free ones to avoid xx

Yeo Valley available most good supermarkets alongside their other yoghurts.
FF usually denotes fat free rather than 'full fat'. There's loads of good full fat ones, usually the cheapest ones. Wish I could eat Aldi's 1 litre bucket of Greek yogurt, it's gorgeous but it certainly isn't good for me or for most people. Far too much LDL (bad) fats in it.
