If it was me, I would reduce the carbs in your diet, reduce your plate size, reduce the amount of meals you have gradually.
Increase your protein, good fats and exercise gradually. Drink more water, lower your alcohol intake, add salt.
If you have a glucometer, experiment which foods are keeping your blood glucose levels high and spike you. Keep a food diary.
Knowledge of your condition and how diet is really important for your health.
A bit of a warning, Glicizide will lower your blood glucose levels, and it could be asymptomatic of going through a period where you blood glucose levels will drop quickly then rise again depending on your carbs intake.
You will probably get false hypos, which is the same symptoms as a low blood glucose reading, but not actually a low.
Once you have some control of your blood glucose levels, you will have to discuss your dosage of Glicizide with your doctor.
Hope this helps.
