GOOD AFTERNOON/EVENING.

I'm OK William, nauseated like yourself and a whirly head, just want to sleep. Looks like I didn't get rid of the virus I had two weeks ago, my bloods have soared but I'll survive I'm sure. Was there any Greek yogurt left in the shop after you had bought your groceries?
Im so worried about you @13lizanne . How do you know its virus? Have you seen a medic? I'll message you later. Up to my eyes in it.
Like @liam1955 just in from shopping. I too was overcome today and had a siesta. Woke with heavy tummy.
This heat isnt working to my advantage. I know some love it thou so wont moan.
Please keep hydrated everyone. I know pointing out the obvious but any distraction and im forgetting.
Ps. Had my metformin liver blood test today. If rubbish I'll have to just manage on loads of insulin. Not what I want. :-(

Good afternoon ladies and gents

Totally goosed been hard at work emptying shed and boxing stuff up

Been naughty and went into Carlisle for fish and chips (you know when you get an urge lol) needed to eat and fish and chips came into my mind

Good Evening Folks. Had my Liver MRI Scan this morning and was really looking forward to the "below the waist hot sensation"!! But, it never happened and I was so disappointed:( - I was given a clear liquid in the back of my hand which was very cold and cooled me. So just a case of waiting now. :)

How long do you have to wait @liam1955 ?

@ickihun - Hello Vicky = Stranger :).
10 days for results to be sent to GP. Or within 7 days for results to Hospital Consultant. As it was the Consultant (Liver Specialist) who requested the Scan, then he should be getting the results soon.
Tomorrow 're-start the daily dose of 2000 mg Metformin and have my Cosentyx Injection too. William x

Fingers crossed for you, William.

Re-started the Metformin this morning with a 1000mg and got another 1000mg to take at 6pm. Also had my Cosentyx Injection this morning which was due on the 26th. Prednisolone (Steriod's) Tablets get reduced on Saturday to 10mg a day, and in all honesty they have done nothing positive - only suffered side effects, what a waste of time!

I keep thinking of that horrific thrush from canagliflozin. I think I'm traumatized by that. I cannot claim compo as it's listed as side affect. I'll never take a new tablet again. Ever! I need therapy. Mind u my family say that anyway. Ha ha. My mum says im obsessed with diabetes.
If she had it I would never hear the end of it. She would be dying every bad day.
@liam1955 you are an inspiration to me. I really admire your struggle without moaning.
I would be moaning every day. Pain is the worst affliction. Luckily nhs has options open to specific injury/damage pain. Thank god.
I wish your pain solution can be found soon.
Everyone deserves to be painfree. ♡♥♡
Moan anyway mate. We are here for you.
I wish I lived nearer and I'd pop over for a coffee and a good moan. It always helps me.
Recently I got my knickers in a twist and accused M of moving my important letters. Guess what it was toddler. They are both as bad as each other. They are 'the mighty movers'. I have to hide everything from both of them. The 9yr old is a darling. He just goes with the flow. Bless him.
Dvd afternoon/evening for us. I might find a bag of sweets for them. Well I'll think about it as they normally bounce off the walls and dvd plays to it's self. Ha ha
Very little rain but neighbours alarm keeps going off. My ears are sore.

I hope scatica does one soon @debrasue . ♡♥♡
Thanks, honey! It's coming and going at present, which is really annoying because it makes planning the week challenging, but it's not as bad as it was the last time I had it. That was a living nightmare and we had family from Australia staying with us at the time, which made it even more difficult. At least this time it's just me and the OH to cater for, and I seem to be able to function after a fashion, so I guess I'm ahead of the game!
I hope you're okay?
I'm going to cheer myself up next week at my daughter's new hair salon. I never normally go to the hairdresser - I usually cut and colour it myself - but I fancied a bit of a change. Watch out for a new avatar if it's a success!
:)

Good afternoon, peeps!
After a wet and gloomy start to the day here in the West Country, the sun seems to have decided to show his face for a while this afternoon. There still seems to be a lot of cloud about though, so I'm not going to rush to get the sunbed out! I may sit on the bench outside the back door, though, and cautiously expose some arms and legs for a bit of Vitamin D... :)
I've been doing a fair bit of rushing around this morning, so I plan a nice, leisurely loaf about this afternoon with possibly a little light baking later, before the Tiny Terrorists arrive to trash the place. (We're babysitting for a while tonight, to give their mum and dad a bit of downtime.)
I hope everyone has a lovely afternoon, and sending big hugs to the poorly peeps.
Hugs x

Good Evening Folks :).
R and I went out for most of the day to Ripon Town (an hour's drive from York), just strolled around the shops, had a late lunch - I had Scampi, Chips & Peas and R had Steak, Chips & Peas. For desert I had Morello Cherry Sundae with Cream and R had Profiteroles with Cream. Hope you all had a good day.

Hi People :),
Done our weekly grocery shopping today at the supermarket - which is the most boring chore in the world!!
But, enjoyed going round Home Bargains Store and Home Sense shops. Never went for our 'usual' Latte and toasted T-Cake - time was getting on and traffic was building as a major road was closed in the city due to a Sink Hole appearing yesterday in York City.
