GOOD AFTERNOON/EVENING.

Good Afternoon/Evening Everyone:). We went to one of our local Garden Centres - Wyevales just after lunch and had a good browse/look around. We did buy a few bits and pieces, but the 'Highlight' was the Cafe - I had a Medium Latte and a slice of Green Tea Gateaux and R had Americano and also slice of Green Tea Gateaux. I will certainly have that again, it tasted really nice. Sun disappeared (Yippee) at 4pm and it's very humid and looks like rain - hopefully have a good downpour. :)
 
So thankful sun has gone in. 3yr old has court the sun yesterday so covered up today. It's hard work as he wants to copy the older kids.
Portable pool emptied and drying out.
Is this week going to be clouded over now?

I've had 3 chocolate coins and my eyes are droopy. I'm so sensitive to any carb now.
I get high sugar from protein so all that is left is fat.
If you see a crazy woman from Sunderland chewing the fat, you'll know it's me. Ha ha
 
@liam seeing specialist on the 27th . It's going to an interesting appointment.
I wonder what he'll suggest? I bet they take everyone off canagliflozin and family tablets. America has banned it. Some poster informed me a few months ago.
 
@ickihun - I have to say Vicky that it did good for me in lowering My HBA1C a lot, but I expected to lose more weight, not just 1 stone - 4lbs. I think people should only take it for 6 Months? Because it was after the 6 months when I really started to get repeated Thrush and Burning Urine. We have enough to suffer with as Diabetics - don't you think?/agree? - I am hoping you get offered to go back on the Metformin? Would you prefer that? :) William x

I did. But now thinking if im about to start the change i may as well take hrt and see what problem isnt covered. It's a funny time of life to make drastic changes. High risk of heart problems in women, just after the change.
To be honest l'll see what is suggested. I'll keep an open mind.
I just want some stability before female hormones start playing up too.
 
Morning FBG 8.9 mmol/l. Not going back till Monday. Still sore and the squits are limiting my movement outside, hope it settles by the weekend. Sun's out and it's clammy again. :)

We have a Wyevale near us, too (and the Wye Valley itself is only 20 minutes away).
The garden centre is a favourite place for my daughter and I to go and have a full English breakfast while the Tiny Terrorists cause mayhem in the softplay area, occasionally emerging for a bite of sausage sandwich. As long as we're on hand to break up the fights from time to time, it's very relaxing!

Good Afternoon Everybody. @ickihun - Vicky how old did you say you were = 49'ish? My Sister who is 55 yrs old thinks? She has started the Menopause? She has put on a bit of weight and has hot sweats during the day and night. I pointed out to her that Mum developed Type 2 aged 60. I have a funny feeling my sister is going to develope Type 2? (She loves her food and her Wine, she consumes a box of wine over a weekend) The younger Brother aged 50 now has had Type 2 since he was 30, and of course there's me 16 years had Type 2.

@debrasue - That sweet little girl looks like fun! I can see a family resemblance. If you like Gateaux? You must try the Green Tea Gateaux - it is truly scrumptious. :) William x

Yes, that sweet little girl is great fun, and she's also a total hooligan when she wants to be. (I don't refer to her and her sister as the Tiny Terrorists without good cause!)
Mmmm, yes, I love gateau, but I imagine that it probably has sugar and flour in it...? I which case, I wouldn't be able to have it...

@debrasue - Treat yourself and then work it off. You could chase your granddaughters around the garden to burn up any sugar. OR even Chase your Hubby around the garden!!!:D
 
I would just like to share this bit of useless information with you all. @13lizanne and I became Notable Members of the Forum a few days ago. Oh, great I thought does that include a 'Chain Of Office' to wear around our necks, No said Anna - we get a length of Rope = A Noose. :D
