GOOD AFTERNOON/EVENING.

@tina_marie - Hi:). Mention to Ron to ask his GP next Monday for a referral to the Diabetic Clinic at the Hospital. Think Ron might needs to start making a list! But, He needs to have his high blood sugars looked into. W.:)
Will do William. He has been making lists for when we go as he's always forgetting things. He's seeing a different gp than his usual one. He's going to get her to take a look at the swelling in his legs and feet too. The main reason for going is to start the next pain patch 20mcgs. Take care and let us know how you get on . Will be interesting to know how your liver is coping. X

Good Afternoon Folks :).
Change of Plans today.
Was going to have my Bloods done in readiness for my Liver Specialist appointment on Friday, but unfortunately my other half has taken to feeling nauseous and light headed, so is laying down. Will check on him in 30 minutes.
But, the weather is so depressing and miserable - don't feel that I want to go out in it!
Hope you are all having a good day :).

Oh no! I hope R feels better soon, we're having a sick day here as well. A has also caught this horrible cold and was supposed to start his work experience today. He was also supposed to go to his drama group tonight but I don't think that's going to happen! He's currently stretched out over the entire sofa, watching YouTube on his phone and wrapped up in a double quilt with the cat curled up on his shoulder :)

Hi everyone, Just been trying to catch up on previous posts, seems some of you arnt to well & some improving, hope everyone gets well soon. I've had terrible flu, hacking cough, throat & chest trouble on/off since flu jab in October , just had chest. X-Ray. Can't get warm no matter what I wear or the amount of heating. Since Xmas gone of the rails, God knows what my next hbc1a will be, very high I'm sure, seem to have lost interest, having trouble sleeping, usually go bed about 3/4am anyway hope everyone that's sick gets well soon & those that arnt have a good evening x

@Diamum5972 - Sorry to hear Barbara - A is not well, hope he gets well soon. I had 2 cats and I miss them very much, whenever I was ill and laid on the sofa they would be there snuggled up with me giving me loads of love and affection. (Male cat died at 19 and Female cat died at 16, had them both from 6 weeks old = both Brother & Sister).
R is better Thanks and on his feet making a mess - putting up some shelves. Wx :)

Hello Everyone , I hope everyone is fine. I just wanted to share my news. My latest HbAc1 was 44!!! In November it had gone up and my Doctor wanted to increase my metformin. I asked for 3 months to lower it. And I did. Now I have to keep it down.

No further forward, it was cancelled due to not being able to reduce fast heart beat enough for machine. :(

Hello @maureen5752 - Have wondered where you have been? Oh Maureen you poor thing, you really have suffered after having the Flu Vaccination.
We all go "off the rails" at some point? = Well, I do - but I go crazy when I do and just eat rubbish! But, I am trying to remain sensible for the sake of my Fatty Liver. Sending you a Big Hug Maureen and you will get back on track, don't worry about your HBA1C as you cannot do anything about it now. Look after yourself and remember we are here for you.:) William x

@maureen5752 we have missed you. Please stay in touch. Even if its to just moan about this dam diabetes. We are listening and a shoulder to cry on. We truely understand the rails part of diabetes. Especially us longtimers like @Liam1955 and me. Over time it just becomes like a puppy that is constantly needing retraining, but you do get joy out off good hba1cs and surprising low bgs when you think your wasting your time.
Time and effort is needed but can be very rewarding. Just not always.
Back 14yrs ago metformin didmost of the work for me. Exercise was walking and swimming alot but a joy. Not painful in any way. Pure joy!
How are you keeping happy these days? We all need some pleasure in life.
I'm a wanderlust person so getting out makes me very happy, not necessarily spending any money either. Walking/seeing somewhere new fills me with zest for life. Ifeel the UK has plenty to see and some fantastic people to interact with, I love new friends and their zest for life too.
Did you see our request for a meet up on type 2 life?

Thanks @Liam1955 and @ickihun, A is feeling a bit better this morning. Good job as well, he has to sign on tomorrow! We're going to have another sick day so he is completely rested and then it's back to normal :)

PS welcome back @maureen5752, sorry to hear you haven't been well xx

Good afternoon everyone. @ickihun how did the angiogram go? It's an amazing procedure isn't it. @liam how are you and R today? I hope everyone has had a good day. :)
