Good Guys

catherine - I think that is an awful idea that you can post about doctors or anyone else .

I am not in agreement with it Ally. I posted it to show that the original poster has competition from another site.

Hey I can always use another hand; that way I could wash up, iron AND vacuum at the same time!!!

Viv its yours ...............................just as soon as i dont need it for washing up - ironing etc etc etc

Hi catherine,
I think its a good site, you read of so many cases of neglect by some of our HPs, If it helps to expose neglect then its ok by me.

Regards Graham

You can express your views about your Doctors and Consultants on this website,
http://iwantgreatcare.org/view/info_for_patients
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click PATIENTS
He/She can be a good or bad guy, your comments are accepted.

graham - it is also open to abuse .

Perhaps us HP should have a site to report awful pts too - I think it is an awful idea!

Ally.
You don't need a site to report Patients too - GP's and others just wash their hands of people who complain and kick them off their books !

Ally has a point, one of the biggest complaints I've seen about iwantgreatcare is that there is a huge amount of emphasis on patient opinion - which is a good thing - but that there is no policing of what is posted, it is down to the professional in question to spot an incorrect posting, complain about it, and there is a delay whilst the complaint is investigated.

At one point iwantgreatcare had 5 comments for Shipman after he'd committed suicide - great validation there then.

I'd read NHSBlogDoc for his, admittedly biased, views about the site and its founder.

Regards, Tubs.
